Do you charge per permit or per filing?
No — CivWatch pricing is monthly and based on the number of connected jurisdictions and named reviewer seats, not permit volume. Your bill does not silently double if your docket grows.
What is the difference between SHPO Community and SHPO Pro?
SHPO Community covers most county and small-state SHPO deployments: up to 5 jurisdictions, 250 permits per month, daily digest, Slack alerting, and public-comment drafting. SHPO Pro removes those caps, adds SAML SSO, multi-year audit retention, and a dedicated CivWatch analyst — designed for statewide and consortium deployments.
Is CLG Monthly the right tier for a single preservation commission?
Yes. CLG Monthly is built for a single Certified Local Government, municipal preservation commission, or town/city heritage board running one jurisdiction. It includes everything needed to monitor permits, surface conflicts, and produce an audit trail — capped at 50 active permits per month with weekly digest delivery.
Is onboarding included?
Yes. Every tier includes hands-on source onboarding — typically 2–4 weeks from contract — and a working session with your preservation lead before go-live.
Can multiple offices share a single workspace?
Yes. SHPO Community and SHPO Pro allow state, regional, and municipal roles to share alerting and tracked resources while keeping each organization’s permissions isolated.
What is the contract minimum?
All three CivWatch tiers are month-to-month. There are no annual lock-ins, and you can cancel at the end of any billing cycle. Multi-year discounts are available on request for SHPO Pro deployments.
Do you accept purchase orders (POs) and invoice billing?
Every CivWatch contract is invoice-billable. State, municipal, and federal buyers can pay by ACH, wire, or check against a CivWatch invoice. Purchase orders are accepted at every tier and reviewed alongside your contract draft during onboarding.
Where does our data live, and who can access it?
Customer records are stored encrypted at rest in CivWatch-managed infrastructure within US-based regions, accessible only to authorized CivWatch engineers under least-privilege. We do not share your filings or alert history with third parties and do not train models on customer data. Full architecture diagram and security posture are covered in the demo conversation.
I run a CRM firm with Section 106 work for multiple client projects — which tier is right for me?
CRM Firm is built for that workflow. It is priced per active client project rather than per jurisdiction, since private firms don’t own a jurisdiction — they run many concurrent engagements. Each project gets a confidential workspace, a five-seat reviewer team, daily digest + Slack alerting, public-comment drafting, SAML SSO across the firm, and one year of audit retention. If you’re embedded inside a SHPO office rather than a private consultancy, SHPO Pro remains the right fit and you don’t need this tier.
